This bottling forms one chapter in the "Eggshellsea" emotional relief series trilogy. Eggshellsea is a Hong Kong-based dynamic visual artist, renowned for the "Eggshell Imagery" series of motion paintings. The creative philosophy centers on crafting an immersive virtual space for deep relaxation through fluid visuals paired with music, exploring themes of nature, social issues, and emotional projections. Regarding this Secret Speyside cask, its design process was notably extended. The other half of the cask had already been released earlier by a prominent Taiwanese bar under the "Burnside" label. Burnside is essentially Balvenie with a subtle addition of Glenfiddich—the "hidden stag." This cask brims with the sweet, invigorating scents of a spring orchard after a refreshing rain.

Nose: Heavy rouge, perfume, and white peach, fresh pineapple, lemon, honey, vanilla cream. Passion fruit, dried apricots, cherries, and other tropical fruits, with white peach aromas emerging after a moment. Vanilla, creamy butter, and a faint sawdust scent. With water: Cake and baking aromas, followed by a fresh pine fragrance.
 
Palate: Medium body, smooth texture with perfume, rouge, citrus, lemon, nectar, white peach, light herbal bitterness and spice, oak, and hints of smoke. Well-balanced overall. Fruit juice, syrup, a soda-like effervescence, spices, plum acidity, and a cocoa aftertaste. With water: Creamy butter, milk candy, subdued spices, and more pronounced fruit acidity.
 
Finish: Medium length, featuring honey, nectar, malty notes, a touch of grassiness, oak spice, and subtle hints of rouge.

關於這桶 Secret Speyside，其設計過程相當漫長。此桶的另一半，早前已由台灣一間知名酒吧以「Burnside」名義推出。Burnside 實質上是 Balvenie 加入少許 Glenfiddich——「隱藏的鹿」。這桶 Burnside 充滿甜美、充滿活力的春天雨後果園氣息。
 
香氣：濃郁胭脂、香水與白桃，新鮮鳳梨、檸檬、蜂蜜、香草奶油。熱情果、杏脯、櫻桃等熱帶果實，靜待片刻後白桃香氣浮現。香草、奶油般creamy，淡淡鋸木香氣。加水：蛋糕、烘焙香氣，接著松木清香。
 
口感：中等酒體，順滑，帶有香水、胭脂、柑橘、檸檬、花蜜、白桃、輕微草本苦澀與辛香、橡木，以及絲絲煙燻。整體平衡良好。果汁、糖漿、汽水般氣泡感、辛香料、布冧果酸，可可回甘。加水：奶油creamy、牛奶糖，辛香料減退，果酸感更明顯。
 
餘味：中等長度，蜂蜜、花蜜、麥芽風味，些許草香、橡木辛香，以及淡淡胭脂餘韻。
